COMMUNITY EDUCATION -Music Classes
ABC Adult School is committed to offering community-based classes designed to promote learning and social development to improve the quality of life for students of all ages. We offer a diverse selection of workshops and classes designed for personal enrichment, professional development and increasing body and mind health. These classes are self-supporting and are not funded by taxpayer dollars.
The Adult School will make every effort to get a substitute (there will be no make-up classes) for community-based classes that are cancelled due to teacher illness or personal need. It may not be possible to find a substitute. There will be no refunds or vouchers given if the class is cancelled.
There will be no class for the following dates: 2/9, 2/16, 4/3, 4/6, 4/7, 4/8, 4/9, 4/10, 5/25, & 6/17.
Quarterly Registration Fee is based on a minimum of 20 students enrolled:

GUITAR - Beginning/Easy Intermediate
Learn to play the songs we all grew up with, as well as fun and exciting pop and classic rock songs with 5 different strumming patterns, basic chords, tabs, and techniques. Acoustic guitar needed.
UKULELE - Beginning/Easy Intermediate
A beginning and intermediate course in Hawaiian, Tin Pan Alley (1915-1930) and other songs/styles up to today. Basic music theory and vamps will be included. Students may use any type of ukulele and must furnish their own instrument. There will be a year end performance. Singers and guitarists are also welcome.
